We have proudly inherited the legacy of Khukuri and blade making, spanning over two centuries. For the past 200 years, our family has been dedicated to crafting exceptional Khukuris. One of our esteemed ancestors, Singh Bahadur Bishwakarma, also known as Sinhe, played a pivotal role in popularizing the Bhojpuri Khukuris. During the reign of King Mahendra Bir Bikram Shah in Nepal, Sinhe presented a remarkable Khukuri masterpiece to the king during his visit to Bokhim of Bhojpur. Astonished by the artistry displayed in the Khukuri, King Mahendra exclaimed, "I have never seen such a finely crafted Khukuri in my entire life." The name of our great grandfather, Singh Bahadur Bishwakarma, resonates even today among Khukuri makers and sellers in Bhojpur Bazar and across Nepal.
