Tara Air is the newest and biggest airline service provider in the Nepalese mountains. This company started the business with the mission of helping develop rural Nepal. Accordingly, our service is concentrated in the hills and mountains of the country from the Far East to the Far West.
Tara Air was formed in 2009 using aircraft from the Yeti Airlines fleet and is based at Tribhuvan International Airport, with a secondary hub at Nepalgunj Airport. The airline operates scheduled flights and air charter services with a fleet of STOL aircraft, previously provided by Yeti Airlines.
