Y Stand Dance School

Y‑Stand Dance School is a top modern dance studio in Lalitpur (Pulchowk) and another location in Dillibazar, Kathmandu. It opened in 2009 and has since trained over 2,000 dancers. A team of experienced teachers leads their classes, including choreographers trained in Nepal and abroad. The school’s founder, Dipendra Shahi Thakuri, has over 16 years of experience and studied in India and Nepal.

Y Stand Dance School's motto is “Dance to Express Yourself.” We aim to break stereotypes around dance in Nepal and help people use movement to show emotion, build confidence, and stay fit.
